Sweet Red Bean Paste | 紅豆餡




Ingredients | 材料 : 
  • 1 portion fillings (about 470g) | 1份饀料

440g  Cooked red bean | 熟紅豆 (Steps | 做法)
  20g  Unsalted butter | 無鹽牛油
  30g  Brown sugar | 黃糖
1 tablespoon Maltose | 麥芽糖 1湯匙

  1. Turn to high heat, put about 440g cooked red bean in a large skillet, stir constantly.

  2. When it is hot enough, smashed the beans until flattened and become paste, make sure it is slightly wet.  Turn to medium-low heat, add brown sugar, mix until dissolved.

  3. Add maltose, slightly mix.

  4. Add butter, mix well.

  5. Let cool for use.

  6. Divide into portions, say around 120g per pack. Keep in fridge for one week and freezer up to one month. Best to consume sooner than later.
